About Roslyn Packer Theatre

Roslyn Packer Theatre is the largest of Sydney Theatre Company’s venues, on Hickson Road in the Walsh Bay Arts Precinct. It opened in 2004 as the Sydney Theatre and was renamed in 2015 in honour of Roslyn Packer. Seating up to 896 people, it hosts Sydney Theatre Company seasons alongside theatre, dance, comedy and live music from visiting companies, and has its own bar, Folio.

Getting there

Bus: Routes 324 and 325 stop outside the theatre.

Train: Barangaroo Metro Station is about a six-minute walk away. Circular Quay and Wynyard stations are each about a 15-minute walk.

Car: Limited on-street parking is available on Hickson Road. Nearby car parks with night and weekend rates include Barangaroo Point (entry via 25B Hickson Road), Barangaroo Reserve (5 Towns Place) and Bond One (26 Hickson Road).

Accessibility

Level access to the main foyer is through the entrance at 22 Hickson Road, and a foyer lift serves the ground, stalls and dress circle levels. Level-access seating is in stalls row F, accessible toilets are on the ground and dress circle levels, and an FM assisted listening system is available on request. Seats for access needs cannot be booked online, so call the Box Office on (02) 9250 1777; staff can also meet you at the Hickson Road drop-off point with a courtesy wheelchair.
