About Albert Palais Events

Albert Palais Events is a heritage-listed function and entertainment venue on the corner of Parramatta Road and Catherine Street in Leichhardt, in Sydney's inner west. Built in 1934 as a dance hall, it was a popular live music venue from the 1940s to the 1960s, nicknamed "The Marriage Bureau". Behind its sandstone facade, a 760-square-metre ballroom now hosts concerts, themed shows, weddings and corporate events.
