About Ocean Protect Stadium

Ocean Protect Stadium is the home ground of the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks NRL club, on Captain Cook Drive at Woolooware in Sydney's Sutherland Shire. Built for rugby league in 1960 and originally known as Endeavour Field, it is owned by the Sharks and was last upgraded in 2006. It holds about 20,000, reduced to around 15,000 during construction in the surrounding precinct, and has also hosted football and touch events.

Getting there

Train: Woolooware Station on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line is within walking distance. NRL match tickets include train travel.

Bus: On NRL match days, free shuttle buses for ticketholders run from Caringbah, Cronulla and Woolooware stations, starting about two hours before kick-off.

Car: Street parking is extremely limited and Captain Cook Drive closes near the stadium around kick-off and full time. Use the kiss and drop bay in front of the stadium, or Gannons Road and Woolooware Road for post-match pick-ups.
