About Carriageworks

Carriageworks is a multi-arts centre at 245 Wilson Street, Eveleigh, in the former carriage workshops of the Eveleigh Railway Workshops, built between 1880 and 1889. The site was redeveloped as a cultural precinct in 2007 and now presents theatre, dance, music, exhibitions and major events, as well as the Carriageworks Farmers Market every Saturday. Theatre seasons, including productions presented by Griffin Theatre Company, are staged in its Bay 20 theatre space and other bays.
