About Spiegel Haus Melbourne

Spiegel Haus Melbourne is a seasonal entertainment precinct on the rooftop of the Golden Square Car Park on Lonsdale Street in the Melbourne CBD. Opened in October 2025, it centres on a 100-year-old mirrored Belgian spiegeltent seating about 350, alongside a black box theatre of more than 400 capacity, an open-air space and a rooftop bar. It presents circus, cabaret, burlesque, comedy, magic and live music.

Getting there

Train: Melbourne Central Station is about a 5-minute walk, and Parliament Station about 10 minutes.

Tram: Several routes run along Swanston Street and nearby city streets, a short walk from the venue.

Car: Golden Square Car Park is directly below the venue at 217 Lonsdale Street, with QV Car Park (180 Lonsdale Street) across the road. Parking is not validated.

Accessibility

Spiegel Haus has a wheelchair-accessible entrance on Celestial Avenue, with accessible toilets near the bar in the main foyer. Wheelchair and level-access seating is available for patrons using mobility aids, and a wheelchair-friendly buggy runs from the Lonsdale Street entrance to the rooftop level.
