About Collingwood Town Hall

Collingwood Town Hall is a heritage-listed civic building on Hoddle Street, Abbotsford, owned by the City of Yarra and hired out for concerts, theatre and musical productions. Built from 1885 to the design of architect George R. Johnson and opened in 1887, it is dominated by a tall clock tower. Its ballroom was refurbished in Art Deco style in 1938 and seats up to 500 in theatre layout.
