About Woodville Town Hall

Woodville Town Hall is a heritage-listed venue on Woodville Road in Adelaide's western suburbs, owned and operated by the City of Charles Sturt. The hall opened as a picture theatre in 1927 and screened films until 1974, and it keeps its five original crystal chandeliers and dress circle. Rebuilt after storm damage and relaunched in 2019 as a venue of around 900 capacity, it hosts live music, comedy, community events and conferences.

Getting there

Train: Woodville station, on the Grange and Outer Harbor lines, is 150 m from the venue.

Bus: Stop 221 Woodville Road and Stop 22 Port Road are a short walk away.

Car: The free car park behind the venue and Civic Centre is available on weeknights and weekends, and the free car park across Woodville Road has restricted and unrestricted bays. There is also plenty of free street parking nearby.

Accessibility

The main entrance has flat, ground-level access with wide doors, and accessible unisex toilets are in the ground-floor lobby. Lift access to the stage and dress circle can be arranged with venue staff via the adjoining Council building. There are four accessible parking bays (two behind the venue and two across Woodville Road), and a hearing loop is installed in the dress circle. The venue publishes an Access Guide; for reserved-seating shows, contact the venue first to confirm hearing loop seats.

Access arrangements can change, so please confirm with the venue before you go.
