About The Star Gold Coast
The Star Gold Coast is an integrated resort on Broadbeach Island with hotels, dining, conference facilities and live entertainment. Its principal show venue is The Star Theatre on the Casino Level, a multi-functional theatre with a mechanical thrust stage and configurations for concerts, stage shows, cinema screenings and standing-floor events.
Getting there
Light rail: Broadbeach North is the closest G:link stop and is a short walk from The Star.
Car: The Star Gold Coast’s secure undercover car park is open around the clock, but spaces are limited and not guaranteed. Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre parking is the recommended nearby alternative, about a ten-minute walk across the footbridge.
Accessibility
Accessible parking bays are positioned near the car park entrance lobbies, and The Star states that its restrooms provide accessible facilities. The Star Theatre has lift access to all levels, wheelchair positions in each published seating configuration and lift access on the Stalls level down to row NN. Accessible seats can be booked through Ticketek using the link on the theatre’s official page.
Access arrangements can change, so please confirm with the venue before you go.
Where to sit
The Star Theatre at The Star Gold Coast has two levels: the Stalls and the Gallery above. A mechanical thrust stage changes the room: about 1,767 seats with the thrust up for stage shows, about 1,928 with it down for concerts, or 1,549 seats plus 600 standing in flat-floor mosh-pit mode. There are 15 wheelchair positions in each layout.
Layouts change from show to show, so check the seating map when you book.
