About Judith Wright Arts Centre

The Judith Wright Arts Centre is a contemporary visual and performing arts hub at 420 Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley, named after the poet and activist Judith Wright. It opened in 2001 in a redeveloped former Bushells tea factory and is owned by the Queensland Government and managed by Arts Queensland. Its flexible Performance Space holds about 300 people and presents dance, circus, physical theatre, music, cabaret and poetry.
