Maryborough Showgrounds and Equestrian Park is a 105-hectare event site with frontage to the Bruce Highway, about 6 km north-west of Maryborough's CBD on Queensland's Fraser Coast. It was developed by the former Maryborough City Council and is now run by Fraser Coast Regional Council. It hosts equestrian events, expos, festivals, concerts and the Fraser Coast Agricultural Show, with exhibition halls, pavilions, arenas and a grandstand.
Getting there
Car: Maryborough is about a three-hour (254 km) drive north of Brisbane via the Bruce Highway. The showgrounds are on the highway about 6 km north-west of the Maryborough CBD and 30 km from Hervey Bay.
Train: Queensland Rail runs daily services from Brisbane, Rockhampton and Cairns to Maryborough West station, a short drive from the venue.
