413 George St is home to the Museum of Illusions Sydney, an interactive attraction in the heart of the CBD. Its visual, sensory and educational exhibits include perspective-changing rooms, installations and images designed to explore how perception can be tricked.
Getting there
Train and light rail: Town Hall Station is about a five-minute walk, while QVB is the nearest L2/L3 light rail stop.
Bus: Many CBD routes stop along or near George Street, with QVB the nearest bus stop.
Car: The museum recommends Secure Parking’s Landmark Car Park at 345–363 George Street, about a three-to-five-minute walk away.
Accessibility
The museum is wheelchair accessible and has a lift, although exhibits with sloped surfaces or elevated platforms may not be fully accessible and can be bypassed. Accredited assistance animals are welcome. A carer or companion accompanying a full-paying visitor with disability receives complimentary admission when a valid Companion Card is presented.
